In Africa it's a believe that children are the glory of our old age. It is a general believe world over. My concentration is on Africa. The number of children that roam the various streets in the cities of Africa are enormous, they are left with what fate has install for them.
The issues of child labour, child trafficking, child soldier are a product of government negligence to the plight of children. The human face behind these problems is POVERTY.
It is a big challenge for every country to fight poverty especially in Africa. With the compliance to Milleniun Development Goal programme by the United Nation in fighting poverty, this problem would have been half way solve.
Thou, some non governmental organization that deal with related issues are doing some positive things, more need to be done. Government need to stand up to their responsibilty.
